  1. Why We Collect Information About You

    Our primary goal in collecting Personal Information is to provide you with the best-quality of customized experiences and services possible. Many of the services that Kinder Tutors, LLC offers requires us to know who you are so that we can best meet your needs. We collect Personal Information (defined below) directly from you when you provide it to us or automatically as you navigate through the Services.

    The information we collect automatically may include Personal Information or we may maintain it or associate it with Personal Information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. It helps us to improve our Services and to deliver a better and more personalized service, including by enabling us to:

Specifically, you can search for tutors and read our online content, however, you cannot book tutoring appointments, or access our online tutoring platform, consulting services or learning centers.

  2. What Information We Collect About You

    1. Personally Identifiable Information You Provide to Us .

      Student and other information to obtain services From Kinder Tutors, LLC . For your convenience, the Services make it possible for you to register and schedule a student for tutoring and other services. Therefore, when you register for our services, we collect:

      1. Information about the student. This information includes student's name, gender, grade level in school, and other personal preferences and information necessary to complete a profile to obtain Kinder Tutors, LLC services (collectively, "Personal Information").

      2. Purchase information . To register with Kinder Tutors, LLC as a client, you must create an account. To book a service, you must provide financial information such as credit card number and type, billing address and expiration date, in addition to Personal Information. Currently this information is provided to and collected by a third-party payment processor.

        Information about the tutor or other service provider. If you set up an account with us as a prospective tutor or other contractor or employee (collectively, "Service Provider") or use our site as an active Service Provider, we will collect your name, email address, password, cell phone number and address. We may collect other information as well. We may send Service Providers emails and text messages, or call them for a variety of purposes related to our service. We may collect a variety of information and submissions from Service Providers, which may include a profile photo, date of birth, criminal background check or disciplinary record, proof of citizenship, referral information (including third-party names, addresses, email addresses, phone and mobile numbers), and any other information related to their qualifications for providing services, and to support marketing and promoting them as a tutor or other Service Provider available through our service. To establish a payment method for future services rendered, we also collect bank account information or other information required to make payments to the Service Provider. We also may require the Service Provider to utilize one or more specific third-party platforms for facilitating payments. We may require Service Providers to set up an account with the Company using a unique username and password, in order to access specific content and/or submit content specifically associated with them.

        User contribution information. You also may provide information to be published or displayed (hereinafter, "posted") on public areas of the Website (such as blogs), or transmitted to other users of the Services or third parties (collectively, "User Contributions"). Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. Although we limit access to certain pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Services with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.

    2. Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies . As you navigate through and interact with our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

      Details of your visits to or use of our Services, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Website.

  3. How We Collect Information About You

    We collect information on this Website, in email, text, and other electronic messages between you and the Services, through any mobile and desktop applications you download from this Website, when you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, when you engage with us on social media or use search and other aspects of the Internet (including liking, commenting or messaging us in social platforms, sharing our posts or others’ posts about us, using hash tags with our name or hash tags related to our business, searching for our name or terms related to our business, or filling out forms or other data capture devices that we may place in various places on the Internet), or if you participate in a survey or post a review of our service.     4. Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to measure Website usage and improve our visitor experience. The relevant data is provided to us by Google in the aggregate (i.e. individual users are not identified) and allows us to better understand our Website audience. The Google Analytics features we implement allow us to (i) evaluate and generate reports on certain demographic, behavioral, and interest metrics of users collected by Google, and (ii) to create advertising remarketing audiences and campaigns based on such metrics, which may be segmented into groups.     Deliver tutoring services and other information, products, or services that you request from us, to the account holder or student.

    Manage content delivery.

    Present our Services and their contents to you.

    Fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.

    Provide you with notices about your account, including expiration and renewal notices.

    Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.

    Notify you about changes to our Services or any products or services we offer or provide though it.

    Allow you to participate in interactive Services features.

    Additionally, we also use your Personal Information in any other way we may describe when you provide the information or for any other purpose with your consent.

    We may also use your information to contact you about goods and services that may be of interest to you.     We may use the information we have collected from you to enable us to display advertisements to our advertisers' target audiences. Even though we do not disclose your Personal Information for these purposes without your consent, if you click on or otherwise interact with an advertisement, the advertiser may assume that you meet its target criteria.

  6. Children Under the Age of 13

    The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 and its rules require us to inform parents and legal guardians (as used in this section, " parents") about our practices for collecting, using, and disclosing Personal Information from children under the age of 13 ("children").     This section only applies to children under the age of 13 and supplements the other provisions of this Privacy Policy. Only the other provisions of this Privacy Policy apply to teens and adults.

    2. How We Use Your Child's Information. We use the Personal Information we collect from your child to register him or her with the Services, communicate with him or her about activities or features of the Services that may be of interest, track his or her performance in games or other activities or facilitate delivery of services by Kinder Tutor's Service Providers, including via videoconferencing, email, phone calls and other communications. We use the information we collect automatically through technology (see How We Collect Information About You ) and other non-Personal Information we collect to improve our Services and to deliver a better and more personalized experience by enabling us to estimate our audience size and usage patterns, and store information about the child's preferences, allowing us to customize the content according to individual interests and speed up your searches. We use geolocation information we collect to facilitate in-person tutoring and other services.

    3. Our Practices for Disclosing Children's Information. We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer children's Personal Information other than as described in this section. We may disclose aggregated information about many of our users. In addition, we may disclose children's Personal Information to

      1. to law enforcement agencies or for an investigation related to public safety;

      2. to third parties we use to support the internal operations of our Services and the Kinder Tutors, LLC services, and who are bound by contractual or other obligations to use the information only for such purpose and to keep the information confidential;

    4. Social Features. The Services offer social features, including chat, email, and posting on message boards, that enable children communicate with others on or through the Services. We do not control the types of information your child can send or post through them. We encourage parents to educate their children about safety online and to carefully monitor their children's use of social features to ensure they do not disclose their Personal Information through them.

    5. Accessing and Correcting Your Child's Personal Information. At any time, you may review the child's Personal Information maintained by us, require us to correct or delete the Personal Information, and/or refuse to permit us from further collecting or using the child's information. To provide your child with the best tutoring or counseling experience possible, we often must share your child's Personal Information with our tutors and other Service Providers.   7. Disclosure of Your Information

    We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction. Additionally, we may disclose Personal Information that we collect or you provide as described in this Privacy Policy:

    To our subsidiaries and affiliates.

    To tutors and other Service Providers, insurers, and other third parties we use to support our business.

    To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Kinder Tutor, LLC's assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by Kinder Tutor, LLC about our Services users is among the assets transferred.

  9. How Kinder Tutors, LLC Responds to Browser “Do Not Track” Signals

    Some web browsers (including Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome) incorporate a “Do Not Track” (DNT) or similar feature that signals to websites that a visitor does not want to have his/her online activity and behavior tracked. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

    If you delete your User Contributions from the Website, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Service users.   11. Your California Privacy Rights

    California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of our Services that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
